Preview and Updates (March 2025)

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to give you an update on my current projects:

I’m working on the next part of the bigger premium reference pack with different scenes. The theme this time is “haunted house”. I finished shooting the first of several ideas. It takes a bit of trial and error for these ones because I want to try new things. Thank you for your patience.

In April I will start working on two ideas for Mermay. These will also include new techniques. That’s why I want to start early. I hope at least one will turn out alright. :’D

And lastly a personal update: I will legally change my first name and gender marker at the end of this year. 

I would love to do this earlier but I will travel to Japan in October and it would be a lot of stress to get all my documents changed before that. But my family and friends already use my new name, and I will also start to use it on social media soon.

My new name will be Alfred Gustav. 

Alfred is the name that I identified with the most since I was a teenager but back then it seemed completely impossible to ever actually change my name. Thanks to the Self-Determination Act that came into effect on November 1, 2024, I can legally change my first name and gender marker through a simple declaration instead of a judicial ruling.

Gustav was the name of my wife’s father. I never met him but I know that my wife loved him alot, especially since her mother passed away very early and she had no other family members close to her.

She gifted me his pocket watch with his name engraved on it. I keep it with me, together with my wife’s wedding ring.

It’s fine if you still call me Jen or Jenny for now. It’s still my name for most of this year. 

I wanted to let you all know early, because I will start to use “Alfie” as my name here from now on.
