Bathin and Building the Buzz!

Hi folks,

Well wishes for the week ahead from all the crew at Rusty Towers. We’re preparing some new developments that we hope to share with you all soon. Again, thanks for your ongoing support! It is your patronage that makes our growth and special developments possible. Indeed, your continued backing in a post-Magnus Archives landscape has been huge for us and we are delighted to have you with us for the journey ahead. We hope what we have in store will be worth your faith in us.

We’re thrilled to see the outpouring of great reactions to a certain special guest voice on Stellar Firma! It’s great to see the anticipation for what message noted podcaster Travis McElroy will bring in the role of Grand Duke Bathin of Galactonium! Folks may know Travis as one of the McElroy brothers and part of their long-running hit podcasts, My Brother, My Brother and Meand The Adventure Zone, as well as co-host of his own show, Shmanners. He’s also co-written a helpful guide to podcasting, called Everybody Has a Podcast (Except You), available now.

We’re really pleased to be able to bring this to you; suffice to say it hasn’t been easy keeping it under wraps at Rusty Towers! And, of course, many of you will get to hear those words in Thursday’s early access episode, entitled Bathin and Ballistics, ahead of public release on Friday.

In other events, we’re pleased to announce the next Discord Live event for Noble-tier Patrons, this Wednesday 21st April, 4-5pm BST, as Mike LeBeau will be doing answering your questions on the subject of streaming! This chat and AMA will take place in the Patron-exclusive Discord Live channels on the RQ Discord server.

And talking of streaming, a quick heads-up on some specials coming to the Twitch channel soon, as Helen returns for another tasty cooking stream on Friday 30th April. And making her debut on the channel in early May, we’re delighted to have Imogen Harris bringing us a ‘Book at Bedtime’!

In show news, if you’ve not tuned in to Inexplicables, now is a great time to catch up as we bring you the fourth of six episodes this week, where tensions are ramping up amidst strange disappearances… Not many RQ cameos this week, but you can keep an ear out for showrunner & editor Maddy Searle and Magnus Archives alumnus Francesca Reid, voice of Julia Montauk.
