With the summer holidays coming up (at least here in the UK), it’s a great time to find a new podcast to dig into.

Captain Alestes doesn’t really want a crew – besides her adoptive father, Baker – but somehow as she sails from port to port looking for work, instead a mismatched crew finds her. Alestes may be able to escape the clutches of British soldiers, hot on the trail of stowaway Siva, but she can’t escape her past. They’ll be discussing exactly how historical consultancy works during the production of a show, the types of weird and wonderful questions that David and Amani sent her and how historically accurate the show actually is.
