Schedules and Charmian

We hope that you all had a wonderful week.

First, a quick apology for the delay in last week’s scheduled episode of Backstage. The episode covering Roman Theatre will instead go out this Friday.

Speaking of our scheduling, we’re coming up to a planned two-week break after episode 10 releases next week. This short pause in the release schedule is just to ensure our production team are able to remain on track without having to go through crunch as they put the finishing touches on the latter half of the season. We will continue to release Backstage episodes on Fridays during the break in main content. As you’ll know, the production team are also now beginning the early stages of work on further Neon Inkwell short series and The Magnus Protocol – we are entering a very exciting few months here at Rusty Quill.

In news from the RQ Network, don’t forget that Hanging Sloth Studio’s latest show, The Twelvelms Conspiracy starts to crowdfund tomorrow. Twelvelms is a new fantasy mystery from the creator or Spirit Box Radio and Not Quite Dead. Set in a university of magic, the show will be filled with selkies, spells and secrets, following three new scholars in their first year. Alongside the usual trials of young adulthood and the pressures of academic life, the trio soon learn that Twelvelms hallowed halls hold far more than learning, and soon they’re sucked into a conspiracy at the heart of everything they’ve ever known. Meanwhile, in this week’s episode of Cry Havoc! Ask Questions Later, Charmian is walking on air after her successful stage debut. Octavia is somewhat less pleased, as auditions are already starting for her next – unwritten – play. But while Gaius and Mark are trapped in negotiations with Cleopatra, someone new has appeared on the horizon…
