It's back - it is finally back. Since June 6, 96% of our subscribers patiently waited. Yes, this took more time than I or the rest of the team wanted. We have four people on the ground now in Ukraine, and we wanted to do things right. I have said even before the podcast started that I wanted to employ people in Ukraine. We are planning to add a fifth person in November if subscription growth restarts.
The breadth of coverage about what is happening in the theater of war, which expanded to include Bulgaria and Romania since June 6, is back.
The analysis of key events is back.
But with that, the depth coverage that Zarina is providing has been added. It is one thing to read and hear about the artillery strikes that have rocked Kherson for the last two days. It's another thing when you have your team in Kherson reporting on what is happening.
Over the next four to six weeks, Marina will find her voice and style, so expect an evolution. She has already become an invaluable team member with the input she is providing and the new internal procedures she suggested. You may have noticed a significant reduction in editing artifacts and minor typos in yesterday's SITREP. Marina is partially responsible for that.
Thank you again for your support, your trust, and your patience.
