I've never drawn them without their shoulder pads before. Luna kinda looks like a wrestler without them. Makes me wish I created a wrestling based character.... oh well.

Yes! They're supposed to be based off 90s fantasy anime, so things like Slayers, Lodoss War, Popfull Mail, etc
