Yeah, Jonathan already mentioned that Scorsese is the crazy guy in the cab that talks about killing his wife with a magnum... but also, about the ending when he rides off before they cut to the credits he looks into the rearview mirror like a maniac for a split second... kinda telling is that he's still fucking crazy.... hahaha awesome reaction guys... thanks.

Godfather 2 for DeNiro and Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore for Scorsese. They were both very early in their career. Scorsese was the crazy guy with the cheating wife in the movie. There wasn’t much you missed. This is one of the most written about movies in film studies and it defined NY and 70s film making. Joker was pretty much a remake of this.
