While yes, there is one dev she also has to understand we are paying her. We're paying for communication. If she has something going on with the game or personally, a simple "hey, having some issues so there won't be communication for a bit" would be enough. Just something so we at least somewhat knew what's going on.

There are many games created by solo devs. Most of which have been in progress, fixed up, and released within a shorter time frame and on a lower budget. This silence would be okay if we were getting the whole game. This is only the early access release... so at this point I have to agree; the single dev excuse holds no water. As we've all been saying: the time frame isn't the issue. The Communication is still the issue.

I'm doing the same. At this point, It cannot just be a "Steam issue" in my opinion. I don't know if she's had to redo something, tried to add something last minute and it didn't work as intended leading to her having to fix it, etc. But the constant lack of communication is old. A simple message like, "Submitted again, waiting for approval" or "_____ wasn't working so I have to fix it before submitting TORR for approval again" would give us all an update that the game is still being worked on.

we aren't being harsh at all. we're paying for extra communication and aren't getting it and the dev is playing mind games with us coming back right before subscriptions end, getting people's hopes up and getting them to start paying again thinking they'll get more information again (plus deleting and editing older posts.) and no matter what's going on outside of game development that's no excuse for such poor communication when being PAID to communicate. it doesn't take that long to type up a message telling what the delay is, doesn't even have to be detailed, just a general idea of what's going on and why it's taking so long.

I can understand the frustration here. It is difficult to understand what’s going on without any communication whatsoever. People have been really looking forward to this project and also spending money on it to get developed. No one can have a word in when the game is playable and I understand that it takes a lot of time and work to create something like this. This is by far the most interesting horse game I have encountered so far. Though giving out a (rough) release date and then not only not sticking to it any close, but also not giving out updates about why? That is frustrating people. I also get that this is all our own choice and risk to support someone over Patreon, but as mentioned by other users; in the Subscription are things listed you get for the money you offer. Though these circumstances are not met anymore. I really hope this game will still get released in the future since it is a gem to me and there is wonderful work in it. Else I thank you for this journey and the playable demos.

It would be nice at this point to have another update. I don't know anything about Steam. I don't know if these issues are typical with uploading games to steam or if these issues are unique to this situation for whatever reason. Again, it would be nice to have another update. This is now the second month of waiting for this game to come out any day now, and personally I find that to be very tiring. I cancelled my membership back in August during the long silence, but I re-subscribed because the dev came back and was communicating again. I had advocated so strongly for communication that I felt I needed to give this project another chance. So, I re-subscribed. However, I do feel that I have about reached my limits for what I am personally willing to give to back this project without the release of the game. Since it's so close to October, I think I am going to pay for another month. But if we don't see this game by November 1, I think that's the end of the road for me. Not saying this should be the end of the road for everyone else, this is just my personal feelings on the matter.

Hi, I tried playing the Demo but I couldn't get past the second lesson as a laptop player since I couldn't get my horse to trot due to lack of separate mouse keys (my mousepad is one giant square, it isn't separated left, right, scroll). i personally think the walking sound in the stable is bit... aggressive. maybe it could be turned down a little or just not made sound like we walk with 50kg boots in the stable xD

Love this! I like that the availability changes, makes it more realistic. And the mental health rides! :D It would be fun if the horses reacted differently outdoors, some would be spookier etc. That could affect how relaxed the rider would feel afterwards :D

with bug fixes and patches she won't be able to use steam as an excuse though because updates don't need to go through the review process.

If this is how things are going before launch, I can only imagine how horrible bug fixes and patches will be. I've cancelled my membership, hopefully those who do support the game get a lot of fun out of it. Peace!

some mouse products are pretty cheap, it makes sense to have it on the mouse than A and D, the keys are for reign turning, (you prob know that) but it makes it more realistic to have it on the mouse than keys. I totally understand where you're coming from though :)

I don’t believe that there will be character or horse creations because the dev had made this game more of a story line but there might be an option in the future where you can purchase a horse out of a few options kind of like ETG trailer system or Ranch of Rivershine!

the creator has stated there are no plans to allow players to create their own character or horses. i don't remember which post it was said in tho.

I guess it will be like, we can chosse what kind of saddle the horse wears

Creating horses and characters was never something that had been discussed for the game at this point! Maybe in the future when the full story begins coming out but not any time soon from what we know!

It's so coool !!! It's great idea to recreate a real equestrian center atmospehere by exercising the horses available. On the other hand, will we beable to create our own horse and choose its character ?
