Q&A - 02 🌻

Question: 

🌻 My biggest questions are in regards to story timeline. Since you said you were going to have to shorten ghost lights, are there still going to be romantic scenes/how much more plot should we expect? 

I can't say for sure how long it will take me to tell this story, but I'm planning and hoping I get it done in maybe 7 years from now? That'd be 10 years in total. That's really long, I know, but to be honest, I planned this from the start.. it was always going to be something I dedicate like a decade to. I love those characters very much and I'm extremely patient (my best skill), and I'm ready to do this. But my health doesn't want to cooperate with me sometimes and I've learned that I have to plan in emergency times, buffers, hiatus times and days where I simply can't draw because I don't feel well ;; Basically, I’ll give myself the same time to finish the story, but not as many scenes.

There's still a lot of plot to come, and the best (or worst?) is that once they get their feelings sorted out... they're in this together! There is a lot of supernatural and creepy stuff going on and it's going to be dangerous, but it IS a love story. There will be enough time for them to be cheesy and sweet! They deserve to have calm, loving moments together. There are also sex scenes that belong 100% into the plot. Comforting each other, being there for each other, feeling safe, resting in each other's arms, those kind of things. They will need each other very often, physically and emotionally.

I just wanted to give them time before they become a couple. I wanted to let the readers experience how they are as friends first, and how much they care for each other - and then they can be best friends and lovers. A very strong bond in the present timeline that can't be shaken so easily.

As for the writing itself...

The structure of the story is actually pretty simple! Because it's a webcomic it unfortunately seems more complex and confusing than it is, because there is so much time between the updates 😭 But I think when reading through it at once, it becomes clear that it's just building up to something currently, and we're almost there!

The plot is based on the prototype. Maybe that's a clue on what awaits them~ 🌸

There are very important plot points they have to work through until they find the answers they've been looking for. In between, they puzzle clues together, figure out more and more, and will run into trouble...... (the reader can try to puzzle, too, but even if someone has a harder time with that, it will all be revealed when they find answers)

Second image: the new plot!! The very important plot points are the same, as is the ending. But the stuff that happens between is now more condensed, shuffled around a bit, cut, and rewritten. They will figure out some things sooner. Some things will happen a bit earlier and because of that I could cut scenes that were related. The plot is very character driven, their actions have consequences. That's why this is a little tricky and I have to do this carefully and not rushed or I could risk to destroy their character development. Whenever I cut something, it means I have to fix later scenes, too. So far, the boys have adjusted really well and things fall into place one after the other. It just takes a lot of time. But honestly, it's a lot better already!! I'm glad I've decided to do it, my storytelling has improved and it will make for a better story.

I'm still rewriting currently, and to answer the question in short: the story is far from over and there will be a lot of kisses (sometimes cute, sometimes desperate)
