Am I next?” Boom! There it is. Laid bare. The most reductive, damning, and true statement of the season, a synopsis of all that occurred before. The heart of all of the bullshit and innuendo plucked out and left lying in front of us on that dinner table in France. There it was. The truth. I was pleased.
