Calvin Harris - I'm Not Alone (Chime Flip)

Another artist that captured my very beginnings of getting into music was Calvin Harris - who at the time (2009) was hitting a huge level of popularity in the UK Pop charts with much more Disco, Indie and Funk vibes long before he became a staple of EDM and House. "I'm Not Alone" was definitely the tune that bridged the gap from that place to where he's been ever since and was an absolute ANTHEM that even got the iconic remix treatment from Pendulum at that year's Glastonbury.

On my journey to bring myself back to the mindset of a 15-year-old me first delving into music this seemed like another obvious choice to flip. It became a smooth garagey feel which pairs with major key to become oddly reminiscent of "Homeworld" from my Aetherborne album (same exact key actually).

I wanted to be specifically careful to avoid stepping on the toes of the unreleased MPH flip that's currently floating around since that also has a Garage vibe on the go. I used those blinky arps from later in the track only very sparingly in the outro since they formed the main focus of the MPH flip.
