'The Heretics on the Hill'
Added 2018-07-01 03:02:55 +0000 UTCRansom/Puck - M/M - NC-17
Warning - This story is a little brutal, but hopefully in a way most of you will find liberating. Life's tough out on the frontier.
I haven't forgotten about the second half of the Luther story, btw. Just having a hell of a time editing it for some reason :P Will post that soon!

After first few books I am so into your stories it's hard to described. And Ransom and Puck is one of my favorite pairs of all the movies and books I know. I love how you chose to wrote their story, and how their grow (mostly Ransom ;D) through Off the Beaten Path trilogy. So thank you for this short story. It was amazing to learn something more about them after OtBP epilogue. My only wish is to read more and more about those two. <3

2022-07-21 12:07:49 +0000 UTCDays since I saw the link, and finally I got around to reading this. It's compelling for a short story, especially years after the events of OTBP. I absolutely despise the religious people in historical-set or historic-style stories. That character a plain criminal, you did a good job making him hateable and delivering the comeuppance. I get that Puck wouldn't fight and it's from his POV, but I would've liked to know some of the fight.

Also Puck, for gods sakes no you’re not “a bad person!” The world needs all types, those who love and those who protect! That was a fun little read and I loved the fact that they are both older now and more mature and certainly won’t complain to see them if you’re ever inclined to do so! Thanks for sharing this. :)
