I'm back

I'm finally through the blackout. Now, hopefully, I'll be able to keep up wit the Patreon uploads. Currently, I'm finishing my latest video that I'd planned to release last week but I had to postpone it.

My life will be little bit more hectic in the next couple of weeks. So, unfortunately, I won't be able to dedicate as much time as I want to to creating new videos. Being alone on all of this work is quite exhausting. But I can't afford to get any help (e.g. hire editors) since YouTube has been punishing my channel so harshly in the last few months.

There has been a MAJOR change in the algorithm. Before, if you made a video that got demonetized, it would possibly get shadowbanned too and earn less views as a result. Now if you make a demonetized video, your entire channel's viewership and ad revenue is going down. Every single video across your channel, even the ones that have always been successful, get their daily views cut significantly along with your demonetized v

You can see this happening to me twice lately.  The first hit came with the coronavirus preparedness video. The second one came with my latest video on the BLM protests. 

The most frustrating part about this is that no matter how hard you work and how successful your videos are, YouTube can decide to cap your exposure at any point and there is nothing you can do to bust through.

That's why your help in this endeavor is so important. Without you, the stress that YouTube puts me under would be unbearable. If it weren't for you, I would have to start looking for a part time job months ago. But thanks to you, I can keep working on new videos full time and not worry too much about the financial outcomes.
