How End-To-End Encrypted Services Lie To You About Your Security

I think it's better to have the content than not. Not everyone is a public speaker and not all public speakers are privacy researchers. I appreciate realguyman for coming on and offering their education for free. I find doublespeed playback to be a solution when I find someone's delivery harder to get through. I appreciate the feedback. I trust you mean no harm and none is taken.

You are right that judging this realguyman based on his voice and way of speaking is very superficial and intolerant. If we judge people based on that, a lot of people who have important contributions to make will be left unheard. I'll try to do better with that. Maybe it's just better to keep my mouth shut when I get triggered by a person's voice.

I think I understand what you are focused on but I say your criticism overall is harsh even if you say you meant no harm. I found the interview helpful and whatever speech characteristics he has had quickly faded away. A friend, I see often, had over 15 facial surgeries just to be able to eat and talk 'normally' and most people are put off by his speech and disfigurement. This kid is quite smart and is a real treasure to know--who wants to have friends and have a family of his own one day. My point is, I urge you to not overlook people who don't conform to your ideals.

I don't know how I could reach out to him. that's why I told THO, if more people would voice the Same concern, he would probably tell realguyman. Also, I wouldn't say something like this in public. This is a really Small community on patreon and not the Same as saying something like that on twitter. Again, I am sorry if I offended anyone with this comment or hurt andbody's feelings. that was not my intention. But you're probably right, saying this here probably won't help a lot. I should have told him directly but was simply too lazy to find a way to contact him.

Talking comes with practice, rarely anyone is good at it by default. Of course, you are free to say whatever you want, but as general advice, this is something you'd communicate to a person directly and in private. The only thing that your message might achieve is to make a person feel more insecure and prevent them from talking again. There are and have been plenty of great people in history who had issues with verbal communication, just to put your statement in perspective, it is somewhat the same as saying "I can't listen to anything Stephen Hawking is saying about AI and astrophysics because he's talking through that stupid text to speech interpreter with his stupid robotic voice". Also, nothing personal, but maybe something you could reflect upon and hopefully reconsider writing something like that in a public space as anon in the future.

Great interview, great guest!

I really don't want to offend or hurt anyone, and this is not meant personally. But I cannot listen to this realguyman. There are few Podcasts I have not listened to the end because of the voice of a Person, but this is one of them. There is something really irritating, not just in his voice itself, but in the way he Talks. Maybe some course on speaking professinally like in the Radio could help him. I am sorry, but I can't listen to this Podcast, it seriously triggers me.
