The way LBJ broke down, there's no way he just found out that his mom got piped by one of his teammates. At that point in his life, he already knew what his mom could've been involved in. I think it could have been more nefarious than just Delonte, he just ended up being the one to take the brunt of the punishment.

This delonte west story i believe other than the aspects COJ has mentioned, is also to aid Cuban in becoming more of a good figure per se due to that sexual harassment conduct issues with the front office executive he hired & him taking heat for that claiming he didn't know when the cat had a track record of those type of issues. Likely more shit later down the pike will likely be released later but mos definitely Cuban is an opportunist plus you factor in that video you did of his remarks on European players etc..a lot of elements to this Cuban/west dynamic.
