I agree with many of your points regarding Chris Paul not being considered the best player on many of the playoffs teams he was on, but what I will say is that he was considered to be the linchpin to get those teams over the hump (i.e. clippers, Houston, and now phoenix). That's what makes him a choke artist in my opinion. He would always come up small in the big moments

2022-11-09 13:08:34 +0000 UTCehh i would lean more towards chronicles assement to me chris paul is a jack of all trades master at none type he is a good passer but have always felt his passing is overrated even at his past his passing ability can't touch guys like trae young or ja morant i will acknowledge he was a very good defender but even then if were talking small point guards defenders it's a convoe between him john stockton and the criminally underrated mookie blaylock as to who was the best little man defender (honorable mention to mougsey bouges) outside of that chris paul did everything average to slightly above average scoring average, rebounding average, shooting slightly above average now but in his early days he was a bit below average like their really was nothing he did at a tremendously high level i will however concide that he is a great mid range shooter

2022-10-25 04:42:39 +0000 UTCi dont agree with your assertion that chris paul doesnt do anything exceptionally well.. this man can pass his ass off. he has some of the best handles STILL and he has an elite mid range jumper. Chris Paul has gotten so many decent players HUGE contracts. Also in his younger days he was an EXCEPTIONAL defender. especially for his size.
