Ratatouille beat out O Brother, Where Art Thou and Rear Window for this month's patron-exclusive episode. There is a lot of love for this movie within the team, but also room for some constructive criticism.

2020-10-09 07:49:03 +0000 UTCWell this was the Ratatouille analysis I didn't know I needed. Tricia, once again, completely killing it in this episode! I found myself audibly agreeing with various of your points haha. Animation is not a genre: thank you! Toy Story 4 loses as sense of metaphor because it gets too literal: YES! I feel this film was just the writers throwing ideas around and having a blast doing it, no concept was too far fetched and as long as the emotion was there, no need to follow through on every metaphor. Anyways, loved this episode! Hope you guys are doing well :)
