Vote now for the November Patron Exclusive Episode! The battle of second places!

Happy November! It is time to vote for the film we'll be discussing in the November patron-exclusive episode. All of these took second place in previous polls, let's see which one comes out on top!

Comments

Hard to imagine that the screenplay of Fury Road would be that interesting, as the movie is so straightforward and driven by visuals and performances, but hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Joel Lehtonen

If Pan's Labyrinth get's second place, that means that it wins the battle of the second places?

Sometimes I think people vote in here more in a sense of "What movie do I like the most?" rather than "What screenplay would be most interesting to hear broken down?" XD

Maybe this might be nice to do as a video, this time?

I still love you, Interstellar.

Brian was spot on about voting...

Joel Lehtonen

Pan's Labyrinth cause y'all need to talk about Doug Jones!

Sera Prince McGill

This is such a tough choice! Going with Mad Max because even though I love that movie, it's not exactly known for its script, so I'd be really interested about what you have to say about it

After hearing Tricia mention Mad Max, I ended up watching the last part of it on TV one night. Not what I expected. so I would like to see, and hear, more.

Despite how the Ratatouille episode went, I still want more Pixar!

I'm torn between Mad Max, which is a testament to show, don't tell world building, and Interstellar, which is ... well ... Interstellar.

I highly doubt we are going to win, but my vote is going to Pan’s Labyrinth!!

Bel

I don't want to vote for any of these because I want to hear you talk about all of them…

How ya’ll gonna talk about a screenplay for a film that was made primarily with storyboards? 😀 (Speaking of, I’d love to hear the team discuss one of the great silent films... Chaplin, Keaton, Arbuckle, etc)

Come on people, you know you wanna hear them talk about Pan’s Labyrinth!

This vote is so hard 🥺 so many good choices...

I hope one day you all will do Lovecraft Country!

Hm, I don't know, should I vote on my favorite movie of all-time or the other 5 that are also on the list?

Just thinking about Pan's Labyrinth makes me cry. It's a freakin' fairy tale for adults. Nothing else like it.
