Single Release: Your Lie in April - Encore!

The plan was to stop covering YLiA after my album released in 2020 (at that point I had already done 12 of them), but people kept asking so I kept delivering. My YLiA album is my most streamed release at some 7-8 million streams and I'm still very much in love with the original soundtrack; so in the end there were many reasons to do more. Without further ado, here are the tracks from this year! Including a wonderful collaboration I did with professional erhu player, Kanae Nozawa.

Technically this would be classified as an EP but considering it's only four tracks without the bonus track, I'm considering it as a single and an extension to "Your Lie in April - Music of the Heart". For the artwork I created a variation of the original piece by Phil. The memory of the series might be fading but the characters and their music still shine a light in my mind. That's what I wanted to convey. I feel that my production side of things have almost gotten to a point where I'm completely happy with it, so it's a bit easier to roll these out these releases without getting completely anxious over the mixing and mastering.

There's a few difficult pieces, but I can recommend track number three and number four for you if you are an intermediate player. Anyhow, I hope you will enjoy it :)

This release won't come to streaming platforms before a week, so you are the first to hear it. It's a bonus release of sorts, I'm going back to my bigger projects now. Some I want to finish this year includes Demon Slayer, Spirited Away, Attack on Titan, Steins;Gate and Your Name. Anyhow, that's for another day.
