<s>lola please the answer's RIGHT THERE ON THE PHONE WITH YOU</s>
in all seriousness... this page got a lot of what i've called "choreographical" elements before. they're basically when the characters move around or are placed in the scene in a meaningful way that isn't just to necessitate the plot.
there was a decent amount of it in drop-out, i kinda missed being able to add components like that. they're almost always elements i don't write down in the script, and come down to having foresight during the illustration phase of making a comic.
... they also tend to sound a lot more like bullshit when i explain them.
one example is the last 2 panels, where sugar is moving/holding up her blanket, and in the next panel, the blanket on lola is visually paralleled falling over her as she flops down and sugar comforts her... i'd hate to immediately ruin it all by pointing it out, though.
a line cut from this page was sugar explaining her first sentence of the page with a follow-up: "you usually only point something out if you don't like it."
it was mainly cut for space reasons. i figured lola would be able to extrapolate what it means about her from the first line.
anyway. this should only be 1 or 2 more pages now (hopefully 1), as this was the penultimate beat to hit.
