hello, hello, everybody. it's a new year, and it also seems that this month, our earnings number seems like it's probably going to stay staunchly above the $1000 stretch goal. it's a big "WOW" to me, but i'll get into some changes and clean-up for this patreon:

• i edited the intro text on my front page. these changes were fairly mundane and superficial; it has needed updating for a while (didn't realize how much i mentioned drop-out in it).
• i edited the descriptions of this stretch goal and the $250 stretch goal to be clearer now that drop-out is over and more flexible for myself (to be specific, i removed the part on the $1000 goal about the extra update at the end of the month), so that i can find a rhythm that's sustainable for me with twice as many updates.
• i edited some information on the commission info post. i added a clause to introduce a limit to edit requests, and also added a basic queue at the top of the post to show any curious patrons how many commissions i have for the month, and how many of them i've gotten through so far. ALSO: i will be trying to implement a soft policy for myself to start sending out more sketches for approval before finishing commissions from now on.
• in a few days, i'll be trying to roll out a general info post for new patrons to explain the rewards and update schedules, as well as provide extraneous links to things such as the youtube archive for streams, frequently updated tags, links to the side comic and drop-out sites, etc. and explaining what i mean when i talk about "side comics" vs "sketch comics" vs "main comics", etc.
• given that the stretch goal is still satisfied after the 5-day charge period, i will be updating side comics twice a week in lieu of main comic updates. sketch comics will still only update once a week, because i just don't think i can come up with 8 unique gag plots (or serious plots for that matter) every month.
  the new schedule will be as follows: sunday - side comic; tuesday - sketch comic; thursday - side comic
• additionally, if the stretch goal sticks, i will probably do a few requests streams at some point this month and/or next month to celebrate it. if you are not in the commission tier and you only have free time at certain times or on certain days but you'd like to get in on a free request, please feel free to comment with a general preference for stream times on this post and i'll try to make it work.
• if the stretch goal drops back down, no change needed, and i'll save the previous 2 bullets for later down the line.
• i'll also be throwing up some extraneous polls soon. i feel like the direction of my art is focused on a few specific characters recently, and i don't want to upset anyone with that. i want to put up a poll about whether the next side comic should be about lola or felix, and possibly do another bigger open poll with a lot of the characters to see where the interest lies (although i will definitely condense the list this time).
