hi again folks. it's the end of the year.

this is the month i was planning on starting to search for a new roommate. truth be told, i was really dreading it, and hoping my wife would find another job. now a few days ago i was told my lease ends a month earlier than i thought and that i need to inform my landlord if i'll be renewing my lease or not a month earlier than i thought i would, so essentially i need to find a roommate within the month or find somewhere else to live by the end of february. my phone service is currently shut off so i can't progress on the issue further until my check goes through anyway.
i'll be needing to spend more time physically walking for hours to places to meet up any potential roommates, and trying to take more commissions to start saving up for taxes in april (was also kind of hinging on my wife getting a job to pay these with one of her checks), or taking even more commissions to pay for faster transportation.
either way, the entire thing has left me feeling so drained and worthless. i think i'm going to be keeping the updates here to the basics -- a stream on sundays and fresh meat updates that hopefully aren't late. this next week's update in particular will most definitely not be late because i drew half of it on-stream yesterday. there may be extra streams throughout the month, as i usually turn them on to work on commissions. personal art, doodles, and progress on catharsis or other writing will probably be kept to a minimum, though, just due to how this is emotionally affecting me, if nothing else.
best case scenario, we will have found a roommate before the month's out, and i'll just be very on-edge as i become accustomed to sharing close space with a stranger. worst case, this is just going to escalate more next month.
