FaD strip: a little off the top

gave myself a haircut recently... or maybe not so recently by now.
i was a little ambivalent about this strip, but once i thought about how the mirror should be showing a reflection closer to reality than of these 2 i could NOT stop thinking about it.

i give myself haircuts. they look nice to me, but i was never a big fan of how weird and fluffy hair looks after going to a salon... after refeeding and gaining some substantial weight my hair also became significantly curlier, kind of like merging into one single mega-curl if i leave it alone, and i'm not sure how i'd feel about a hair stylist being able to treat it well. it's easier to do at home when most of your head is shaved, though.
weirdly, i still don't draw my hair curlier because... it's pain and makes me look like a jigglypuff if i try to simplify it.

anyway, that's all fluff. only some minor lines were cut from this; "you like it way shorter than me"; "you like it more symmetrical anyway"; "you're like an orphaned kitten that never learned to groom"; etc.
the colors are just 2 tones of gray tinted green and blue. my wife thought the color choices were to indicate a more relaxed tone, but i just chose them because i wasn't feeling too great physically that day after a lot of nightmares and consequent oversleeping.
the detached hands, no arm style is in full swing in this one because honestly if i had to draw the arms in it, most of the figures would be incomprehensible.
