Our first Friend Date!

WOW you all are so fast! LOL! The 10 Slots are now filled. If someone has to cancel their slot I will contact the next in line. Thank you all soooo much! *Excited dance* Remember we will be doing this monthly if all goes well so you'll have plenty of opportunities going forward :)

Hello Friends! 

We are excited to finally announce our very first Friend Date! Ahh woo woo! 

The friend date is a Virtual Zoom Meetup with a group of strangers within this community, with the purpose of connecting with new people with similar interests &  hopefully facilitate some awesome new friendships.

The friend date will be approx. 1 hour and each date will have 10 attendees.

The date will be facilitated by me - Lou & a surprise activity will be organized that will be something you hopefully enjoy and will help get the conversation flowing!

Our first friend date will be on Wednesday 31st at 3pm New York time (EST)

There are 10 Solts open for this first date (first come, first serve) and they are available to anyone who can make that time. 

Other requirements for taking part are:

• That you are comfortable having your camera on.
• Can communicate well in English (We hope to arrange dates in the future that can facilitate more languages)
• Be interested in getting to know others and ask questions of each other.
• Be an active listener and give space to others in the date.
• Keep your mic switched off when not talking.
• Participate in the activities organized.
• Have a desire to make virtual friendships.
• Be willing to give private feedback after the session via a survey link.

At the end of the date, we will suggest that if you wish to stay connected with the people you have met, you can share your info through the chat section either privately with individual people or publicly with the entire group. (There is absolutely no obligation to share your info if you don’t want to or if you feel as though you didn’t click with others. This is about making connections and if you didn’t feel that *friendship spark* we hope you will try again with one of our future Friend dates)

The first 10 people to confirm in the comments section below with ”Sign me up for a slot” will be given first dibs on the slots. 

We will direct message the confirmed slots with more info.

If you don’t catch a slot this time, do not fret friend. We will be doing this again next month!
