iPad Doodle Dump
Added 2019-03-30 17:51:58 +0000 UTCSorry for there not being a whole ton of finished work this month. I've been trying to acclimate myself to using the iPad I got. So far it's been going... pretty okay. I'm still getting my sea legs in Procreate, trying to find brushes I like, etc.
More than that, I'm trying to adjust my approach to art, which is to produce more stuff that I never intend to finish. I've been experiencing a lot of roadblocks due to my tendency to approach everything with an end purpose in mind, or I don't do it at all. It's led to a pretty steep reduction in my productivity over the years because every drawing instills a little bit of fear that it's going to turn out poorly, and that I won't be able to use it. I'm hoping that working on a smaller screen, in a way that's naturally going to lend itself to quicker, rougher work, is going to help with that.
Anyway, here are some doodles in varying states of completion. There's a commish I started, a couple doodles I went over for a friend, the start of Vin's apartment... Kind of a mixed bag but I'm hoping the quality will go up as I get used to working like this:
