Homelander really is an all-time great villain. The character is a massive POS, but the writing and acting are phenomenal. And you may recognize the actor in the hospital outfit from the X-Men movies. He played the Ice Man character which first appeared in the X-2. (He was the teenage character whose nemesis was sort of the fire guy, Pyro).
