四肢骨折さんの入院日記⑧
Added 2023-05-31 14:58:34 +0000 UTC初めて車椅子に乗ってから数日、少しだけ身体が慣れてきたので、今日はリハビリ室に連れてきてもらった。
首のコルセットは柔らかいものに変わったけど、両腕両脚のギプスはそのまま。右腕はまだ痛いのでしっかりとアームスリングで肩から吊られている。
ギプスに包まれた両脚は台に乗せられて、まっすぐ突き出す形になっている。
リハビリ室には怪我した人がたくさんいるけど、私は明らかに1番重傷だ。
歩く練習をする人の横で、手足を全部固定されて車椅子に乗ったままの私…。
ため息をついて脚を動かすと、車椅子の台がギシッと音を立てる。
ギプスはまだ外れないけど、来週からは歩行器を使ってリハビリが始まるらしい。
はやく退院できるように頑張ろう。

It's been a few days since I got on the wheelchair for the first time, and my body has gotten used to it, so today I was brought to the rehabilitation room.
The neck corset has changed to a softer one, but the casts on both arms and legs remain the same. Since my right arm still hurts, it is firmly hung from my shoulder with an arm sling.
Both legs wrapped in a cast are put on a stand and stick out straight.
There are a lot of injured people in the rehab room, but I'm clearly the most injured.
I was sitting in a wheelchair with all my hands and feet fixed next to someone who was practicing walking.
I sighed and moved my legs, and the wheelchair platform creaked.
I still can't get the cast off, but next week I'll start rehabilitation using a walker.
Let's do our best to get out of the hospital quickly.
