April Update: I'm an Adult :(

I'm an adult now, it hurts booohooo T__T As most of you know, I paused Patreon for March because life just got so crazy. I bought a house (omg I BOUGHT a HOUSE that's so insane to me), it was brand new so I had to set up a lot of stuff that was totally new to me. On top of everything, I was trying to juggle my full time job and potty train Shippo (he keeps peeing on the floor... cry...)

My partner moved in with me and he's been a huuuuge help in setting everything up and unpacking. He also brought two cats so we had to acclimate them to Shippo, which has been a slow and painful process that takes up most of my time now...

The boys: Bao, the black and white cat, likes picking fights with Shippo :( And it's somewhat unpredictable; he will come up to Shippo for a sniff but then all of a sudden swipe and meow aggressively. Thankfully, Shippo isn't aggressive and most of the time doesn't react. He is mostly confused haha, recently he started getting excited when Bao swipes because he thinks it's play, which further aggravates Bao aaagh. Thankfully Bao hasn't swiped with his claws so Shippo is unhurt, but I am being careful that 1) Shippo doesn't get hurt and 2) Bao doesn't get traumatized by Shippo's hyperness.

Our queen: Nori is our black cat. Truly a queen she is, all day she just chills by herself and minds her own business. When she hangs out with us, she perches from a high place and watches the boys tussle. Nori and Shippo also have a manageable relationship; Shippo will come up for a sniff and Nori either sniffs back or leans back. Shippo leaves her alone after that.

Now that everything is unpacked and I'm getting the hang of handling the boys (smh), I have more time for art. I want to invest more time in Pikarar as a brand, and ofc Patreon! I miss you guys </3 It's still hard to fit art into my schedule (I am usually free after 11PM once the pets go to sleep), but I am making it work. Thanks again for all of your support and for still sticking around <3 I'm prepping for Sakura Con in Seattle now, which is the first con I will be attending since pre-pandemic 2 years ago. I'm both nervous and excited~ Hope to see some of you guys there.

I am also super excited to work on my house. Finding furniture is both fun and stressful haha, and I want to paint a mural in the art room/garage :)
