New Website is coming along + goods update.

Have you guys noticed? We've been hard at work revamping the site for the $2k goal. Don't worry, everything will be translated in English as well.

Update on goods:

Paypal USA has it seems, without hyperbole, the worst customer service ever that has existed in the history of everything ever that has existed ever. Long story short it's taking us forever to set up an account that can accept money (we can pay but we can't accept). We're doing this over in Paypal Japan as well as a backup plan but if both fail, we're thinking of using a service called Payoneer.

http://www.payoneer.com/Japanese/index.aspx

We're trying them out right now and if we think that it's a good service we might go with them instead of Paypal. It's about time Paypal stops becoming a monopoly anyways. For those that don't want to make a new account elsewhere, don't worry. We'll still be pushing Paypal.

Hope you are all doing well.

If your using PP to buy items (for personal use) then yeah its easy.. but using it from a business/online store perspective isnt.. there's lots of issues iv had a personal experience with it when i was helping my older brother do online businesses and PP is such a hassle to use and work with. I agree i wouldnt hold my faith in PP completely id use an alternative payment method.

My brother had online business before and working with a business PayPal account was the biggest hassle on earth.. they held his money (called it a money reserve) where paypal ceases money from you (your money) for a long period of time as a security measure.. my brother needed that money so he could pay off bills.. instead paypal took it away.. i dunno but i really dislike using paypal. cant we use another safer alternative other than paypal? Yeah my brother had the same verification/identify issues too and it took him ages to resolve his account with them they dont have proper customer service and they take ages to respond or give a crap.. Btw my brother used a company called eWAY to enable credit/debit card transactions on a website. If you needed some help. Aside from that he mainly used PayPal as the main shopping cart purchase method.

To be honest paypal would seem easiest because i can transfer funds through my debit card, i don't store my money on the actual paypal account only on my debit card but it allows me to use it through paypal.. i think.. if that makes sense? Never used Payoneer before and im not sure if they accept credit/debit cards

lol xD I never really like paypal because its a third party company who's holding your money..

If you're doing anything other than casual purchases with PayPal, you're dead on the money. The buyer is always right and if you have more than a few dollars in balance then you're obviously running drugs or illegal waifus or something.

I've never had any real problems with PP myself, but I did hear alot about their bad support and behaviour. Even thought I really like to use it... It's propably for the best to set up a secondary payment option nonthless. I am sure there are a lot of other people out there, having some serious problems with PP.

Sad to hear that they haven't changed. I had a series of bad experiences a few years back and it feels like walking on thin ice every time I've had to use them since. Blockchain save us!

Surprised it's continuing to cause so many problems. Seems like you've got a rather uncommon problem all things considered. Certainly I never ran into it invoicing people and neither did any of the RMT guys I used to know. Personally I'd have removed card/bank info from the first account and remade it on another email after about 3 days.

Im not gonna get into it too much... but basically, they aren't retuning any of my emails for customer support. There was like a 4~5 step vericfication when I first made the account, but no matter what I do they wont send me a confirmation email proving that I own the email account associated with the account. This was a month ago. Now we're dealing with Paypal JP. They respond normally, but unfortunately the law here is pretty strict on personal identification, and we needed to send proof of residence in like 3 different forms and apparently it takes anywhere from 2~4 weeks to verify. We're at the tail end of this now... hopefully it will be resoled within a few days.

ALICE IN DISSONANCE

That doesn't sound good. I've never had problems dealing with paypal, I'm assuming it's hard for you guys because of the country difference. Either way I'm excited for all the new stuff.
