SILENCE THE PEDANT - Notice of Delay
Added 2017-05-08 08:31:55 +0000 UTCIt breaks our heart today to announce that SILENCE THE PEDANT’s release will be delayed till Q4 of 2017. We have experienced a critical setback in development and have mulled over many different scenarios but have concluded that the best course of action we can take is to delay the release of the game entirely. The original plan was to drop a playable demo of the game alongside this post but we wanted to announce the delay as soon as possible.
We will release a more in depth explanation of what’s going on within ALICE IN DISSONANCE’s development cycle and why we decided to take this course of action when we actually release the playable demo. Please understand that this was a painful decision for us. I, Munisix, have lost days of sleep over this, but after going over the pros and cons, it's clear that we have no choice but to bite the bullet and do this now, or we will run into even larger problems in the future.
Just to make things clear: we aren’t giving up or losing steam. We aren’t “over” fault in any way or getting burnt out. No, in fact it’s quite the opposite. Our ambitions have outgrown our development environment and we need to take some time to adjust. Once again, we’re sorry that we had to do this and we hope you will all stick around.

It's fine! You should take all the time you need to raise the game's quality to the best level it can be. fault is always worth waiting for in my book. <3

2017-05-08 15:56:18 +0000 UTCI'm interested in hearing about your situation, since I'm in game development as well. Nonetheless, it's sad to see the game delayed, but you've got to do what you have to do. I'm sure not being out by Anime Expo really hurts as well.
