Remember when Askeladd was sharing his origin story with the Welsh dudes that saved him and his crew? He mentioned that he actually hates the Danes because of how his Danish father treated his Welsh mother. It was fair to think that he might have been acting his usual manipulating self, but I always thought he was being genuine. I feel like the music/shots had something to do with it. Anyways. Just more confirmation in this episode he wasn't lying.

I've noticed a lot of your opinions on what you perceive to be "anime as a whole" are basically just "shounen" concepts, which is only a fraction of ANIME out there.
