He went from a selfish guy just trying to skate his way to an easy life in the military police, to an effective and reliable combat leader. He was a guy who would sacrifice his comrades to survive, but now he’d die for any of them no questions asked.

2021-02-22 21:57:42 +0000 UTCI understand the anime cut out a lot of Mikasa actually being really caring towards people other than Eren and made her more obsessive than in the manga. But think about their current situation a little, If Mikasa only cared about Eren, wouldn't she be trying to get him out of prison right now? The Mikasa of season 1 would've. Her flashbacks were so well done as well and showed the doubts she has about Eren. When we saw that scene before, it was heroic and Mikasa didn't look scared of Eren, but now it looks terrifying.

For a child to grow up in that sort of environment and then turn out almost 100% fine is surely possible, I just personally find it very strange that he’s just so accepting of all of this. I hope we get to see how he’s somehow found a healthy way to cope with everything, because as far as we’ve seen he’s the only Eldian that has.

She was taught Eldian history, the history that said that her ancestors were tyrants and their crimes so big that the only way to be accepted by others is to give their life and loyalty to Marley. And to hate the ones on Paradis who ran away because they weren't willing to repent and atone for those sins. They're basically kids born to a cult. Some can change their views when presented with the facts (like Falco) but most people in that situation won't think logically and will instead avoid any info that conflicts with what they believe in. Although Gabi is more extremist that the regular cult member [eldian in Marley]. She was like the most fervent believer and just got forced to be on a situation when she can't avoid the truth and has to face the reality that she has been living a lie. And I'm loving her reality check.

Sasha literally had no character development past season 2 and characters like yimir and erwin lapped her in importance. If armin mikasa jean or connie died the impact would've been greater or at least the same in connies case. Thats how not important she was. The way a character goes out shows how important they are. Sasha got shot and her last words were meat. Had she been actually developed she would've had far better final words

However, I also had access to other people and information that helped me form my own educated opinions. Gabi and Falco never had that opportunity before Eren showed up. Falco simply accepted outside information that contradicted everything he’d ever been taught without even feeling the least bit conflicted. Maybe it has to do with his uncle being a Restorationist, but his extreme open-mindedness seems almost foolish in a way, even if he’s correct in this instance.

Looking objectively at everything, not only does Eren have the potential to be the single most dangerous person on the planet, he is also very clearly mentally unstable. And to add onto that, he now has radical followers ready to stand in position when he says so, and clearly has no qualms about doing his own thing to get the results he wants. When Reiner said way back that the worst person to have the founding titan was Eren, I really don't think he was off. Eren is a flight risk to the entire world. Could I be wrong? Sure. But, the man has nearly no reasons to be trusted.

Thats part o the reason why they are in interment zones. Did you miss when willy told them that there history was completely fabricated. Eren's memories were never wiped that was the people before him and he had his titan memories giving him hints every step of the way that they werent the last of humanity. So no her thought process is not iilogical especially since Falco actually got to meet eren have several conversations with him and see reiner breakdown in front of both of them due to his guilt. I swear you dont be paying attention to the show

She’s clearly been coping her entire life with the hate the rest of the world has for Eldians by directing that same hate towards Paradis. That’s how almost every Eldian has been coping. We’ve seen so many instances of that in past episodes. Someone as open-minded as Falco is extremely rare. How has he managed to be fine with everything that’s happened to him? Thinking logically at that point is borderline impossible, especially when you factor in all the propaganda. He’s very baffling to me in that sense.
