A few notes about how Peace Island does business.

We needed to clear up a few things about any possible relations with publishers/distributors.

Rule 1: We do not believe in "Games as a service." In fact, it's one of the worst ideas ever introduced to gaming. When you buy our game, you will OWN IT.

Rule 2: We will not work with any distributor or publisher who demands that we create DLC for Peace Island, or integrate any monetization schemes. When you own Peace Island, you will own the WHOLE GAME, from start to finish.

Rule 3: We will not work with any distributor who demands exclusivity of release.

Rule 4: We will not work with any streaming games service who will not permit Peace Island LLC the ability to distribute full, downloadable copies of Peace Island to those who bought it on their platform, should said platform ever fail or go out of business. Your game should remain YOUR GAME, even if the guy you bought it from went out of business.

That should wrap it up for now, but we have one last item to cover:

It has come to our attention that there is a website out there (peace-island.en.softonic.com) that claims to offer downloads of Peace Island.

THIS IS NOT TRUE. This site is fraudulent, and is loaded with ads and who knows what else.
