So- since last we met...

The greatest of our energies at the home office have been spent refining interiors.  

Boring on the outside...

But a heck of a lot more complex, on the inside.

Over 80% of the interiors that will be featured in the game are under active development- about 5% are more or less complete.  

On the backend, things are progressing rapidly - every day, we're attacking the next alpha on a dozen fronts.  Here's a shot of the new and improved seagull flocking AI in action:

Again, it's just amazing to have such skill on our team!  We have also begun recording some of the custom music & VO for WISL, the island's radio station.  

More artwork for leveling cards is in the works - but I'll hold off on sharing a bit of that, until perhaps next week.

Now, as many of you might know, the unofficial theme of the Peace Island project is VNV Nation's "Perpetual."   

So much so, that we commissioned a Maine bluegrass remix of the song by Adam Shortsleeves, a musician from Bangor.

The reasons for this are many, but can be summed up simply in that the lyrics are the instruction manual for Peace Island:

HELLO, AND THANK YOU FOR PLAYING PEACE ISLAND, A GAME ABOUT CATS.

1: Find it in you, raise your eyes - Look beyond the place you stand, towards the furthest reaches and to the smallest of things.
