A CRAZY week...

First off, one of our main development machines was offline for two workdays, due to hardware conflict issues.  However, thanks to the talented bunch of folks we've assembled, development on the game didn't suffer too much.  

Laura has continued roughing out interiors, and Arjuna, who usually handles our character controller development, is giving structures like the Gazebo a facelift:

And he's doing a bang-up job- you'll remember how the above structure previously featured a bizarre cherry-red cupola that resembled a Kremlin rendered using 1990's technology.  The guy is even even going so far as to take on-site photos to ensure our wood grain is 100% authentic!   

While there remains a few minor issues regarding scaling and paths, our AI-driven deer have finally been integrated into the game world.  I removed the foliage, to make the deer a bit more visible in the shot below:

 In coming weeks, we're going to be working a bit more intensely on IK solutions to ensure more realistic movement for all characters and NPCs. 

Another thing: People have been asking about whether or not we'll see any dogs on Peace Island.  I believe the following animation answers such questions:

There will be two other dogs- this is just a teaser!

During the two days my computer was away, I was no slouch.  We spent a lot of time re-organizing the office space, and patching holes in the script.

More 2d art is being produced, as well!
