We require another week for the PC alpha release.

Trust me: for that, we are eternally thankful.
However, if I didn't type out a full explanation, we wouldn't have much of an update, would we?

In the final days leading up to a public launch, you feel sorta like a captain on the bridge, checking in to ensure everything is grand, as you slide into port:
Ready Comms - Roger
Ready Navigation - Roger
Ready Engines - Roger
All seems ship-shape, so you lie back, and take a few hours to create a new animatic of the intro scene.

And all seems good, until you get an alert from your second:
"Sir- there seems to be something blocking our course!"
You glance over your station, and there- right before you, is something...
"Very well - slow down our approach - hand me those binoculars, and get me a bowl of chili!"
You gaze through the lenses, bring the distant, foggy object into close focus, and have barely time to whisper to yourself:
"My god, it's the MENU system!"
Before the comm starts to buzz incessantly:
REPORT
Menus have clogged the engines!
REPORT
Menus have started bursting from the galley's sink!
REPORT
A vicious menu has emerged from the head, and has pulled an ensign into the ship's septic tank!
"FULL STOP!"
It seems simultaneously odd, frustrating - and yet also predictable that such a mundane object as a MENU would gum up everything from the cat's targeted jump, to the quest tracking system - not to mention a dozen seemingly unrelated aspects of the game.
However- that's where we find ourselves - and I never even got my chili.

We apologize for this unforeseen delay, and appreciate your patience. We will use this time to not only address this persistent menu issue, but also improve other aspects of the game as best we can (s well as send out more premiums!)
Thanks again!
