Things are coming back together - and STEAM!

Last week, the new computer FINALLY arrived, and while the core refactor is in its initial stages, we are already seeing results!

While it might not sound like much, the first improvement was the return of properly-shaded rocks.  This was a particularly annoying bug, because when I was shooting our recent trailer, I had to be very judicious of how I framed shots - from a distance, the rocks looked fine - but close up, they looked like low-resolution chewing gum.

We also have again made the kitten playable - although we had a bug with his fur that we'll be fixing tomorrow.  Our animator has created another kitten idle, as well - which you can see here!

We also FINALLY got the Peace Island "Early Access" page up on Steam!  Currently, we are just asking people to follow and wishlist Peace Island, if they are so inclined.  You can check it out here! 

We also released a Spanish-language version of our recent trailer - you can check it out here!  Now - some of you might be wondering why we decided to make our first non-English language trailer en español.  

The reason is really simple:  we would not be here, had it not been for the South American gaming community.  Understand that the screenshots that were initially seen worldwide, and made Peace Island "Go Viral" were first shared via a Brazilian cat lover's group.  Latin American gamers shared it further - from there, the story was picked up in Britain - the next thing Laura & I knew, we were quitting our day jobs and hiring coders.

There's a lot more that I'd like to tell you about the past week, but I am constrained by the clock - cats need to be fed, and in-game name placements need to be made....
