Compiling Bug Reports, New Music, and The New Guy

I confess that about 10% of them are reporting stuff that I remember being fixed, and verified as fixed - but that has been a consistent problem: Occasionally, one person's work (usually mine) gets "rewound" when someone else on the project uploads their work.
Stuff like this includes the textures one encounters at the LaFlamme Fishworks. I remember fixing these specifically for shooting our recent trailer, but users are reporting that even on ultra-high, materials such as those on the broken clock appear as very fuzzy and low-quality.

Perhaps we need to bring in a few willing volunteers to be pre-testers for us. Drop us a line at peaceislandllc@gmail.com, and we can talk.
Another one of the things this alpha was missing was some of Richard DeCosta's newest work on the soundtrack - but you can check out a video, here! This alpha contained four different "sound biomes." The beta will contain at least two more.
I've been meaning to mention: About two months ago, a guy by the name of Lance Stucker started working with us on the project. He's an indie developer in his own right - self- taught - having coded several games from the ground up, solo. His latest game project is Dragonfort. You can join his Discord, and check out a demo!
While you might have not heard about him, because he has not worked for any so-called "Triple-A studio" - lemme tell ya: This guy produces clean, precise code more efficiently than ANY so-called "Triple-A talent" that we've encountered during the entirety of this project's development.
For example: Among other things, he's pretty much 100% responsible for the entirety of the new stuff you can do in the 'jungle gym" that was included in the recent alpha. Not content to take a rest of victory lap, he's tackled the cat's ability to hunt in the days since the final PC Alpha release, and is very close to a solution.
I'm mentioning all of this this, because I doubt we would have been able to release the alpha at all had it not been for Lance's work, over the past few weeks - he deserves recognition.
I wish I could type and share more- but I need to take the evening off, so I can tackle Monday's workload. I will update again as soon as we have news on the Mac alpha!
