Dragon Head Sketches
Added 2016-12-01 18:14:18 +0000 UTCI irrationally fear making my dragons cliches in terms of how they look, and am always trying to throw in different designs to make them unique. I also try, although I realize this is ridiculous given the subject matter, to make them plausible natural creatures, which is why they will never have four limbs and wings (that would make them insectoid, plus you need large muscles to generate lift power--which is why birds have relatively huge pectoral muscles and spindly wings jutting out from shoulder blades wouldn't work). Like birds, I figure these dragons' heads would flow from what kind of food they'd adapted to eat.
