TM001 - Kronii's Bonus

I am still working on the Nerissa set but it's quite a time pass so I want to make a small content to test and practice on writing dialogue.

Some fans advise me to be more active and be more trendy so I have been thinking about it. This is my first test. Time cost is 3 hours for just sketching and 5 hours for basic color.

From this first try, I am leaning towards making just sketches and small dialogue because it looks better than my quick coloring work. I don't know what you think about this. What do you think? Which one do you prefer?

With just 3 hours then I can spam content whenever we like to keep you guys entertained without thinking too much that It will affect the progress of main work. But if it comes to color, it may be very difficult..

Please don't worry, the quality and speed will get better from time to time. At least, I put it into action and things will start to change. We can totally use this to make something more trendy but for now when I am still finding a proper way to do it, let's just stick to our vtuber.

Do you want me to do more of this in the future ? Please comment so that I can serve you better.

Thank you for supporting me

Thank you! I will try to manage time to draw both sketch and base color. It doesn't look very good because I literally don't have any experience on making this. For the black white, it will cost a day. Time spend on adjust body and make the character look correct is what took most time. If I draw this kind of work long enough, there will be a way to lower the time cost I think. Thank you for appreciating my sketch folder. I didn't think many people will notice it lol. I am back to my work then.

Ohh I like this idea. Something more convenient for you that lets you get some extra stuff out without interfering too much with your other work. I think people will probably prefer colored sketches but I think you could also get away with doing colored sometimes and non-colored ones at other times. Especially if you use the time you would've spent coloring to do another sketch or two. In that way, you can pump out little scenes and play with different ideas for poses and stuff. You could even use them as references for your bigger works, like maybe you want to do a specific kind of pose but you're not sure how exactly you want to set it up or frame it, a couple of sketches can give you a better idea and maybe speed up your progress with something that might otherwise take longer. I myself typically like color but to me one basic colored piece or two or so uncolored sketches seem to be equal, and knowing that you have big detailed works with lots of color and shading means that I'd be fine with just sketches. I think mixing it up between plain sketches and basic colored ones might be a good balance, depending on how long the current detailed illustration is taking. You could also maybe go halfway sometimes and just do the black and white shading without going all the way to color maybe? I don't know how long that takes you compared to adding the rest of the color. Also, as someone trying to learn how to draw, I've been practicing by using art as a reference and trying to understand how to draw it on my own, as well as trying to draw other things I see. Sketches are really nice to use as a reference (I really appreciate that you send a sketches folder with the rewards!) so that's a nice bonus too. Seeing the progress differences is also pretty helpful to understand shading better. There's an appeal to sketches to anyone interested in the creative process in some way, so I know even without color they'll be nice to see.

T . T Okay, I will try to put some color just like this one then. Hope I can find a way to make it faster.

I think the majority of people would much prefer a colored sketch as opposed to a black and white one. That's also my preference haha

Thank you ! If you like it then I will make more while still keeping the monthly work. Just one last question, is just sketches enough ?

Considering how quick you made this I think this came out looking great! I'd definitely love to see more like this. I think it's also a good way to become more experimental and which could help with your more detailed illustrations
