So with Random The Culling Bullshittery (part 2) finished, I've decided to take my little After Effects experiment to the next level and take a stab at doing all of the next bullshittery in Adobe Premiere.
And since I've been sorting through Arma footage, I think I need to get another episode done. There's a good 3-4 episodes of content here and its taking up an entire hard drive :S
Why Adode Premiere though instead of Vegas? Because I've been reading about this. Which I'm rather hoping will turn out to be a bit of a magic bullet.
This is a tool that lets you export individual clips to After Effects in order to use its motion tracking, without the hassle of having to render an entire video first and then import it into After Effects as I was doing for the previous video. This should let me automate quite a bit of the animated text, letting me focus on more complicated editing tasks.
This is still just an experiment though. But it'll also be good to learn new ways to edit and build on my current skillset. I flirted with After Effects briefly before , and really enjoyed it. Be good to do so again.
I'm ready to begin cutting together Random Arma Bullshittery (part 7) and will begin on Monday morning if you're happy for me to do so.
Have a lovely new year everyone.
