Next bullshittery project & welcome new patrons

Good afternoon everybody.

First up, a huge welcome to the new Patrons. After the video-essays went live there was something of an unexpected surge of new pledges here.

Welcome to the channel and thank you for your generosity :)

On the video essay front, thank you for all the feedback over the months concerning draft versions. It's all been very helpful. So with the responses to those three being fairly positive, I feel a bit more relaxed when it comes to properly polishing the remaining pieces.

There was always a worry that the response would be unfavourable. But by the looks of it, there may well be a demand for talky-heavy videos after all.

On the next video though, I rather think it's time for a bullshittery don't you?

For those not familiar, what I tend to do is alternate between picking one and the Patrons picking one - and it's your turn this time.

Therefore, I've grabbed a small selection from the 25+ possible options, trying to provide a bit of variety. Feel free to tell me your thoughts on the selection below. I can always mix things around if there's something you're absolutely desperate for.

1.) Divinity: Original Sin 2

Divinity is a top down RPG game from 2017 that involves a party of heroes attempting to save/rule their fictional world by literally becoming gods. Two lengthy playthroughs were played in 2019 and 2020 by myself, ZF Digby, ZF Quebec and MessyEssy, in which many shenanigans were had. And where we repeatedly supported/sabotaged each other in our collective path towards divinity.

Truth be told, I am apprehensive about this one. Just based on the tremendous amount of pre-production work this would require.  I would likely have to scrub through all 100+ hours of streams to be able to properly plan what to include and what not to.

That being said, every journey has a first step. And people expressed disappointment that it wasn't on the polls from earlier this year.

2.) Pavlov VR (Counterstrike)

Pavlov is a VR recreation of Counterstrike, in which Terrorists and Counter-terrorists fight over familiar maps, this time using interesting virtual reality mechanics.

Structure wise it would be that of a traditional bullshittery. Gags selected free of context and typically related to amusing mistakes or unexpected moments of skill.

I actually have a wealth of clips left over from the previous Pavlov bullshittery. No doubt enough to make a part 2. Expect lots of friendly fire, inappropriate quips and terrible grenade throws.

3.) Soldat

Soldat is a 2D shooter game in which two teams jump around a Worms'esk style map, firing various modern weapons at each other to capture flags. Rolling at speed across the terrain to avoid and dish out fire.

A bit of an unexpected entry, as randomly a member of ZF suggested we try it again when it became available to download on steam. We just did the one game, but it includs much of ZF.

Expect a short 2-3 minute episode of the amusing moments that occurred.

4.) Space Engineers

Space Engineers has a group of engineers in space suits building small ships, large ships and space stations from their imagination. Playing with blocks with different properties and smashing lots of things into other things.

So I have lots of clips left over from the previous Space Engineers bullshittery where the clan were building a giant moon base. Complete with pressurised rooms and sorting systems. Splitting up to build their own custom ships and often fighting with them.

After cleaning up the debris that was Cyanide's lander, the clan set about making more advanced things. Or frequently trolling me with those damn holograms (Alasdair!!).

5.) PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is one of the more popular battle royale games, and one that the clan played religiously between 2016 and 2018.

As a result, I still have a huge stockpile of amusing highlights ready to turn into bullshitteries. Expect a part 4 of betrayal and cockups.

Going through these clips is something I would really like to do. It seems a shame to let all these moments slip through the cracks.

6.) DayZ

DayZ is...well you all know what DayZ is.

Over the years the clan have made numerous revivals of DayZ with various clan-specific servers. Be they mod or standalone. As a result, I have quite a few highlights saved up, in which we roam around Chernarus and get up to mischief.

So, feel free to tell me your thoughts below. And also there's a poll right here. I've allowed multiple voting so you're more than welcome to pick several:
