Introduction to basic math with Tex, so I went to the Doctor recently.

168 Hours a Week

168 Hours a week minus insane work hours, minus insane YouTube output, minus the occasional sleep.

In short, thing's have not necessarily been healthy.

I've been working like a dog at work, I get home and make crap-loads of content. Historically, this crap-load has been fairly consistent. I mean 2500 videos, holy shit. My peers don't do this. Probably for good reason. Probably because it's insane and I'm a workaholic that never stops.

So about that workaholic thing. My Doctor diagnosed me with being exhausted. He asked what I do in an average day, so I told him. He was horrified.  He asked how long I've been doing this much, forgoing sleep, and so on. I told him, and again, he was horrified.

So, in short: Here's a few things I need to say. Obviously the rate of video production, that is to say the daily "HERE YOU GO TAKE THIS IM DYING INSIDE PLEASE HAVE THESE VIDEOS AND ENJOY THEM" is probably going to slow down. But it won't stop.

In order to be ethical about this - I decided to announce this change BEFORE this start of the new month. That's right, I'm giving you a chance to stop paying me if this change is not to your liking BEFORE you get charged money.

As mandalore  points out, there's too many Patreon Vampires out there. People who set up a patreon and then go dark, disappearing for months, and not making videos at all. I think I've consistently done the opposite and I wanted to tell you guys I have to slow down when I actually had the free-time to sit down and write.

Not dumping ss13 footage in massive piles also kind of lets me pass the torch. A torch I picked up from YorpYorpYorp and spacemen who came before. This, I think is key. New blood is necessary to preserve it. I'll still be around. Randolph P Checkers aint going anywhere.

Also in the meantime, I'll be working on some new things. Things you may enjoy. Keep an eye out on the Legion's founding date of June 5th.

Trust me.

Tex I actualy am a Patron to A: Keep you making videos and B: Stop you killing yourself with Work vs Videos. You already throw us a huge amount of videos for LITERAL cheap/free. If we did the maths of not involving money, I mean effort over time over video. You are like selling us videos at 0.2 (I am making up shit) per day with the amount of videos. The average ONE VIDEO A DAY 10 MINUTES LONG youtuber is like a 1. On your semi monthly dump days of "Fuck it have like 10 hours of footage today." your a 0.03 in per video value. Meaning YOU SPOIL THE ABSOLUTE FUCK OUT OF US! You dont even spam. Also fan of two years, on and off patron of like 7 months? (I already ranted my "love" for you tex on this board) an well....you are already going at it full steam. I dont think we can complain if the the videos per day even stopped at 1 video per day...cos thats still an hour to three hours worth of content already doing a weeks work of a "Average 10 min daily vid" gamer youtuber. WHY I like you. I want my long form entertainment and not sold in bits for Adverts. WHY I give in Patron to make you keep doing your unorthodox ways with the biggest fact that you entertainment me always. I am someone that goes off and on people all the time, yet no Tex I am always enjoying you at your highest and lowest. So lets not make it your deadest as not doing any vids at all, mainly SLEEP YE CROTCHETY OLD GIT! Also having been drinking Whiskey straight I have now realised It dosnt actualy get you drunk. One can of beer tipsy to me...quarter if a large bottle of Jack Daniels no a third...oh yeah I get drunk. Random thought I kept wanting to say....

your own health comes first and foremost. and i dont think most of your supporters mind the scaleback, if that means you life longer overall to make content , and do what you do. we keep trowing money at it. now shut-up and post us your doctors healthcare bill so we can trow more money at it, we hide it under a pile of money, just like the rest of your problems.

Hey man, if you need to scale back a bit, go for it. Self-care is important
