Notice about the future of Patreon

As well as you know Patreon was in a big trouble having to pay high Arbitration Fees and is also changing the TOS and Guide Lines to prevent this from happening to them again, but these changes give them the right to do what they want with them creators using their platform, in addition to the fees and taxes that the patreon is applying to supporters is increasing. With all this drama of Patreon, it is very likely that Patreon will discount all the problems that they had on the creators and supporters.

That said, I strongly recommend that you migrate to Subscribestar or FANBOX because I strongly believe that Patreon in a few months will start adding more and more restrictions to creators such as forcing me to remove my content from Pixiv even though the content from Pixiv don't be tied to Patreon, just because my name "SoDevs" is tied to things that Patreon is censoring like: lolis, shotas, incest, nsfw anime style, hentai, things related to politics.

Or they'll find any other excuse to try to ban me like they did before, forcing me to remove the patreon links from my social networks, remove the link from my twitter, youtube, and Discord server or remove my profile image, thumbnail and photos of tiers because they don't like content related to japan/anime and censor their creators who do that.

I have a profile on FANBOX where you can get access to my content completely without restrictions, but you have to enter in my private Discord server to be able to get the files uncensored since by law FANBOX asks their creators to apply mosaics or bars for some types of content. FANBOX also accepts payments made through PayPal like to Patreon and the value of the tiers is the same but in yen (quick conversion: $1 = 100 yen)

Subscribestar does not give me any limitation or censorship of content like Patreon or asks me to add mosicos (even if it's not a big deal) like FANBOX, currently it is the best platform to create content. The only downside is that they were forced to remove the payment option via PayPal (I think we all know why it is correct?).

If you want to migrate please do so only at the end of that month (30th or 31st to be more specific), the content offered between FANBOX and SubStar are the same and also include the items offered in Patreon and much more. I will not end my activities at Patreon, I am just giving this warning because Patreon is suffering from several lawsuits and has the chance that Patreon will have to end his activities because of the large amount of money they lost and may not be able to stand the pressure and the new taxes that they are being forced to pay.

Pros:

- Accepts Payment via PayPal

- Fees and taxes almost nonexistent

Conts:

- Obligatory use of Discord to receive content completely uncensored and items distributed only by the Discord server

Subscribestar:

Pros:

- No restrictions or censorship

- Lower rates than patreon

- Use of Opical Discord (but still recommended)
