I've watched a few deep dive podcasts and television true crime shows about this case and, to me at least, Scott absolutely did this. There is so many other things that Scott tried to pull off or cover up in regards to his actions leading up to poor Laci going missing

Unlucky for him that the fetus and the body washed up, having that not happened, he would prob still be out there with his new fiance. This case resembles the Michael (forgot the last name) that got killed by the best friend and the the widow married his best friend. Shame nonetheless. Great video as always.

I would get a lawyer and fight for my rights and the rights of my loved one to have justice. There is nothing about satanists (who are usually just killers who blame satan rather than people killing in a satanic ritual) removing body parts but really nothing about them really existing either. LeVey Satanists are all about free love and no rules. It’s really rather theatrical. People found worshipping satan are often kids who are just confused (combing satan, pagan and Christian imagery) in their idiotic drawings. The letter writer sounds like a nut. Bet he was all over the McMartin preschool satanic panic thing too. That turned out to be completely bogus but it ruined lives. Thinking this is satan and not Peterson (or at least a plain old murderer) is insane. Peterson was no doub5 guilty. However, the people cheering outside the courtroom are also disturbing. A woman is dead. A baby was never even allowed to be born and a guy, no matter how evil, is going to be put to death, leaving those who loved him but knew nothing of his guilt, also very hurt. There is absolutely nothing to cheer about in this case, let alone congregate outside the courtroom. It’s sad. He had a normal life and now he’s destroyed so many. Conner Peterson would be 16 years old now. Poor little guy. Never drew breath.

Have you noticed how much people want to believe a guy who is good looking and charismatic can't be a bad person? But no one would believe him if he looked and talked like Robert Pickton. I was living in Modesto, about a mile away from Scott's house, when Laci disappeared. You did a good job of covering the essentials of Laci's case, but left out a lot. As you were researching this case, did you come across a story about the blue tarp or discover that Laci had taken out a $250K life insurance policy with Scott as her beneficiary? ~ Christmas morning or perhaps a day or two later, I woke up to the sounds of helicopters circling over my neighbourhood. Obviously, something was up (no pun intended). For months afterward, my early mornings were tea and the Modesto Bee with the latest on Scott & Laci. ~ Apropos of nothing, perhaps, Scott's house was a modest little bungalow on the border of one of Modesto's really upscale neighbourhoods, La Loma. I don't give a damn, but I suspect that he must have really envied his upscale neighbours. The park that you referenced in your video is about 50 steps from the door of Scott's house. It's a large, undeveloped regional park with a creek running through it, no lawns or paved bike paths and lots of dense vegetation. ~ During his trial, alternate theories intended to exculpate Scott were presented. All of these stories were tenuous at best and, at worst, absurd. One of my favourites was the "theory" that Laci was kidnapped by a coven of witches from Waterford, CA. Waterford is a tiny, incorporated city of about 2,000 that lies about 15 miles east of Modesto. Back in the day (the late 70s), I owned a small holding a few miles to the west of Waterford and I got acquainted with quite a few people from Waterford. I soon discovered that playing farmer wasn't my thing, but that's not for me to tell here. One Sunday afternoon, I realised that I had a library book that was going to be overdue. The headquarters of the Waterford PD happens to be next door to the library. I zipped into town to do a little shopping and to return the book by shoving it into something that resembled a mail box by its front door, As I got back into my car, I noticed a sign taped to the door of the police station: "Closed! Call the sheriff." ~ Them damned clever satanists! Who knew that Waterford was such a hotbed of crime? But, seriously, I was glad to see the return of the tinfoil hat. I wish that you'd return, at least on a part time basis, to your Captain Mike genre...

Laci’s half-sister put out a book, I think, I read an excerpt of it, in which she pointed out all his inconsistencies and squirrelly behavior. She would know, he stayed with her during the early days of Laci being missing. I think she even visited him on death row. Also, being interviewed on all the big new shows - complete narcissist behavior. He thought he was smarter than everyone and could get away with murder. And there was a big, long, scientific explanation for the decay level and missing parts of both bodies. Forensic evidence shows Laci’s body was weighted down with an anchor and dumped in a shipping lane. Not going into more details, but where she was and how long she was there explains everything about the condition of both bodies. That a**hole is guilty as hell.

People in every eventuality want to believe that there's some strange truth out there that is covered up by circumstances, public officials and the public willfully refusing to see and etc. This is what's behind Bigfoot and other silly belief systems. People want to believe in alternative truths because the conventional truth is boring. There's no fucking way in the world S.P. is not guilty. It's beyond reasonable doubt and beyond any shadow of a doubt. People say they saw her walking her dog. Well eye witness accounts are notoriously bad. People get dates and times confused. Or maybe they saw her at 7:30AM and he killed her at 8 when she walked back in. It just doesn't do anything to dispel the MOUNTAIN of evidence showing his guilt.
