I wanted to bring up a major issue that a lot of the world seems to be ignoring, and that is the potential law that Hong Kong may have to deal with.
When Hong Kong was handed back over to China in 1997 from the UK, China created the "one country, two systems" policy, that guaranteed Hong Kong 50 years of complete autonomy from China, legally, politically, financially, complete with it's own border and semi-national identity.
Unfortunately, as many have feared, China has failed to keep those promises, and has interfered in protests, elections, and the daily lives of the average citizens, and it hasn't been met with positivity.
The umbrella movement, student protests, and general mistrust of the CCP has made many Hong Kong citizens actively pursue a dissident role in preventing the spread of China's influence, and after talking to a ton of people in Hong Kong last month, I am disheartened to say that it seems the CCP is winning. However, they are not winning the hearts and minds of Hong Kong people; the people are simply just tired of fighting a losing battle.

People that previously wanted to be on camera for my channel, and tell the world what is happening are now too afraid to solidify their identity online as someone who spoke up, for fear of a completely Beijing controlled future.
And this is where the new extradition law comes into effect.
If this law is voted in, it means that anyone that mainland China deems a threat, a dissident, or a criminal (both foreign or Chinese) can be extradited to China for trial.
Mark my words, if this law is voted in, Hong Kong's thriving democracy will vanish, and Hong Kong will literally become just another Chinese city.
Thank you so much for your continued support.
