Hello there
For today's Sunday Art Post you are getting yourself another video of me building stuff.
As the title tells you, this is the first part of the bigger build I've started, which is a tombstone (I'm not even sure if that's what they are called, headstone maybe?) from the Haunted Mansion. In the queue for the ride there are loads of graves with quirky epitaphs on them (they are usually named after Disney Imagineers too) (Disney Imagineers are the people who create the rides/storylines etc) (There's more to explain here than I thought and now I am stuck in a spiral of brackets).
I've got a few of them that I would quite like to do, as I have mini versions of them in the garden already and want to replace them with something more ridiculous. I also would like to put on the record quite how much help VanOaksProps were with, not only the heads up on how to do it in their own videos, but also advising me on materials (you'd be amazed how much the UK doesn't match up with the US in building materials). I will also say that VanOaks are much better at this than me, but I am a learner remember and have never made a tombstone before. Can't believe I even have to point that out.
See what you think. I was down in the dumps by the end of this, but have tried to make the video watchable nevertheless...
Hope you have a lovely Sunday on the go, and if you are in the UK please do be proper careful in this erratic weather.
Lots of love to you
