For the past month I've been wanting to overhaul the lighting on my artstyle. For the longest time, I would do the lighting by loading a black map in SFM, then adding in the lights to give me more control over the lighting. I've realized this may not be the best course of action, as the black, empty map causes nasty color banding (I don't know if it's because of my monitor and if it's visible elsewhere), which is something I really don't want.
What I did here is loaded up a map with flat, white lighting, then I generated the lighting in Photoshop via filters. What I've done here is considerably basic and I think it's not too bad, but more complex lighting would be a lot more difficult to pull off. I'll need to keep playing around with it and see what results I get.
I drew the cum with Photoshop as well (Thank you More-Useless-Source for showing me how to do this.
