I've been very much enjoying the Youtube channel of J. Draper, a London tour guide who posts fairly frequent shorts about London history. I wish there were more of the longer videos but I'll take the short ones over nothing. I especially like the one about pikemen that I just watched, very funny. We have a local pike troop here in the Seattle area; they march around at the local Ren Faire every summer.
Someday, when I have time and money, I want to travel the country and visit all the Faires. I hear Dickens Fair is good.

I think Tarvek's more concerned about Gil entrusting this task to him, when he really wants to go see Agatha on his own prerogative. "Wait, you just did what to me? You cad!"

2024-01-08 07:36:12 +0000 UTCNo, no, wrong; I don't believe Tarvek's speech in the last panel. We have seen many times in the past that he understands when Gil is teasing him practically before Gil does. If Tarvek said this it'd be sarcastic, but that's not how his face looks. I vote for flushing that text and redrawing Tarvek's face. I know that's a big ask, but it's my (self-appointed) job to protect Tarvek around here. :)
