I don't know many who hate New Nightmare (and I love it), but yeah I don't love A Remake on Elm Street, though I like JEH as Freddy fine enough.

2021-02-04 16:41:54 +0000 UTCThis was kind of the beginning of the end for Nightmare on Elm Street movie sequels. The comedy in them began to overtake the actual horror. Part 3 was probably as far as they should've taken it but at the time Freddy Hysteria was starting to take over in the late 80s and the movies were more concerned with the "punchline" in every death kind of like Schwarzenegger movies.
